1stChoice RV is Southern California's premier RV and Travel Trailer rental company. As business continues to grow, 1stChoice had a great need to get an online quote system in place.

We designed an online system that in turn would save them a total of 6 hours a day of quote processing. Here is how the system works. A customer browses to 1stChoiceRv.com and shops for the perfect size rig. The quote page will allow the customer to select the size of the RV, departure and return dates as well as various options. The calculation engine takes all these options into account and produces a quote for the customer via email. The tricky part of the calculation engine is the way it calculates the price based upon vehicle size and rental dates. Each RV has a different price based upon the ammount of days that it will be rented. For instance, a 38ft RV rented for 10 days is calculated as follows: the first 3 to 6 days is $399, 7 to 14 is $394 and 15+ is $389. This means that the calculation engine must calculate the first 6 days at the first rate, and the remaining days at the second rate.
